  • Conducted funding searches for 7 different social services, money management, and mental health programs, among others

  • Authored grant applications including approach, timeline, evaluation, abstract, cover letters, logic models and MOUs

  • Submitted contract requests to city, county, state, and federal agencies, as well as private and corporate foundations

  • Conducted funding searches for 10 different mental health, foster care and education/prevention programs, among others

  • Submitted grant requests to city, county, state, and federal agencies, as well as private and corporate foundations

Submitted three successful United Way applications worth $1.2 million each. Secured awards from AL State Department of Education, AL Dept. of Child Abuse, and AL AG worth more than $1.2 million. Won agency's first federal award ($400,000) from DOJ Office of Violence Against Women. Secured more than $250,000 from foundations such as PNC, Macy’s, Jr. League, Women’s Foundation, and BBVA Compass.
